RoboCupJunior2026 Rescue
Dear RoboCuppers,
RoboCupJunior 2026 in Incheon was once again an unforgettable event. All Rescue leagues continued with the updated scoring system, which evaluated not only robot performance but also the engineering process and documentation through posters and technical description papers. We truly appreciate this approach, as it shows that while building great robots is important, being able to communicate and share knowledge with others is equally valuable.
This year, the Rescue leagues brought together an impressive field of participants: 26 teams competed in Rescue Line, 29 in Rescue Maze, and 13 in Rescue Simulation. Seeing so many teams from around the world come together made for an exciting and highly competitive atmosphere across all three leagues.
Spectators and fellow RoboCuppers were impressed by the ingenuity and determination of the teams. Throughout the event, participants demonstrated creativity, clever problem-solving, and teamwork in overcoming the many challenges. RoboCupJunior 2026 in Incheon was not only a celebration of technical skill, but also of collaboration, learning, and reflection on the evolving role of technology in education.
We hope to see you next year at RoboCup 2027.
